>>>Watch for a $3 pop tomorrow. Number of analysts upgrading CPQ tomorrow. <<<

I would be interested in hearing just how you could know that there will be upgrades tomorrow.

aftab... Is the Jabil reference your only
reason for estimating a $3/share increase
tomorrow? If not please be kind enough to
share any other relevant information upon
which you base this strong statement.
I would be interested.

Should you be following this thread you must
surely know of posts 1 1/2 weeks ago predicting
$40/share by Feb. 27. In retrospect that looks
rather suspect, at this moment.

I don't believe comparison to JBIL is valid. The market cap on
JBIL means much higher volatility. Your comment implies that the
same *COULD* happen to CPQ, but I don't agree because it will take
a lot of money to move the price of CPQ up to the high $40s, much
less the high $50s.

I bought CPQ because I believe that DEC will benefit CPQ, but I
also think, in retrospect, that I jumped in too aggressively,
thinking that the market would be quick to see the benefits. My
read of the recent downtrend is to agree with those who say that
some evidence of the positives must be evident first.

Actually, I do not disagree with this being downgrade manipulation,
at least to some extent, but there is a risk of trend reversal here
that I did not expect prior to last week. I was expecting a nice,
clean flag to develop for a consolidation, which IMHO would have
been a clearly bullish indicator.
