Then it's pure speculation. This board is riddled with all kinds of speculation of late. I suggest that speculation carry a disclaimer of "perhaps, maybe, hopefully, possibly, or IMO." To flat out state that there will be a number of upgrades tomorrow, with no fact to back it up, is presumptuous. Stephen

Since compaq has such high institutional ownership, it would make sense that institutions would hold the largest short positions. However, short covering takes place as a stock price is rising. I don't understand a short squeeze in the present circumstances. Could you please explain. dp
