Good post, Obewon. I also now recall (thanks to your reminder) that it was Microage which was cited earlier in the so-called channel stuffing context. There is so much information and misinformation being disseminated about compaq that I have to repeat once more that we are in a period of uncertainty which will not end until merger plans are detailed and hard facts and figures are published. The stock price is clearly drifting down but I am confident that this investment will pay off in the long run and that we will not experience a major selloff or crash of this stock. dulane

Obewon... "PROFIT and GREED. Enough said." Informative post on both accounts. As far as "profit" and "greed" is concerned they could be redundant. The other motivating factor to make a decision in FEAR. FEAR and GREED generally motivate us to make our investment decisions. Usually at a DELAYED response to market conditions. One must bridle the urges. Greed = BUY Fear = SELL However, all decisions in life are made to either be better off than we are now or... not be worse off than we are now. Loki
