Scott / CIQ

Another one which I like is Cirque Energy [CIQ on Alberta ]; stock got beat up lately due to oil pricing scenario.....last week it traded below 60 cents which in my opinion is a steal. U.K. oil discovery is on 90 day production test.......if the play proves to be as large as first indications then the stock has significant upside.

Yorkton in a report dated FEB 13/98 have a target of $1.30.

Scott / Maxx Pete

Super great buying opportunity for Maxx shares at current price. Numac is still out of favor with financial community. Minimum downside risk, but at the current time - limited upside potential.

I also think there is great value and buying opportunity in Upton Resources. 1998 cash flow of $1.80 looks pretty firm.

Just saw your comment regarding TSE & MSE. Keep in mind, the ASE is the birthplace for tomorrows successful oil & gas company. Three of my favorites are Berkley Pete, Genesis Exploration and Vermilion Resources and I bought into them when solely on ASE. There are many others which are now very successful and listed on the TSE.

I find that most issues on the MSE trade on the TSE. Those that don't, are high risk issues. Do you see this in the same light.
