No, I really can't as I have no experience with SparQ since I have a Mac.

But I can report that Iomaniacs must be feeling the heat that SparQ represents. If the only defense they can offer of Zip's confirmed unreliability is to try and trash Syquest's amazingly low-priced yet fast SparQ, then Syquest must be doing something right.

I own no Iomega products, although I do own a SyJet I bought based on its superior $$$/MB compared to Zip and Jaz. No problems with it. My only use of a Zip drive resulted in a Clunking Clacking Thunking device that scared me. I will not give Zip a chance to scare me again.

Iomega cannot offer low $$$/MB, nor speed. All they have left is installed base and trash talk. Both can and will disappear just as quickly as they came.
