i think 20 - 24 is a good guess for pre approval. my hunch is that the market will tend toward the lower number because it was burned once last year, and will play it a little safer. i would like to reiterate that all the papers that i have seen lately have shown benefit for the procedure. many of the problems raised in the last FDA panel meeting were more of a technical nature, that the product may work, but PLC didn't prove it. Too many crossovers, not enough follow up, etc. In addition, considering the fact that there are competing companies with a very similar product, there must be a number of other intelligent people who think the technique is effective.
