Barry. Sheesh. Thanks a lot. Are you sure on this? I can't believe that our holding period for long term warrants would start anew. Hm. I would have been better of selling the warrants and then buying the stock. To wait another 18 months for long term gains does not make much sense.
Well, too late for me if this is the case. So, let's hope that nothing happens to Intel in the next 18 months. gg.

It is my understanding talking to the IRS that if you take a loss on the warrants and buy the stock within 30 days it is not considered a wash because they are to seperate securites entirely
