FWIW...

A while back I got several friends into CKFR at or
around 24 3/4. I've since re-positioned all of them
and myself at 21 3/4.

Now, I wait. I suspect, and boy this is no Kreskin-like
prediction, we're in for some very bouncy days. But, folks,
I'm a long SEEK investor and have profited mightily by
patience there. And I am utterly convinced I will profit
by patience here.

As search engines are hot today, so will the entire
topic of e-banking cycle to top-of-brain status. It's
not an immediately sexy topic. There isn't a megasite
or three where I can go and be instantly ushered into
the nonpareil joys of on-line checking. My Uncle Harry,
who does now ask about search engines, doesn't ask about
online banking, yet. (Of course, he's still a little
suspect of ATM's :-) )

While, e-banking isn't sexy. It is, or will be
in a couple of years, almost ubiquitous.

Microsoft fear is potent. And, at times, but far
from every time, legitimate. Microsoft has pulled some
serious bonehead plays over the years. Their bigness,
though, has given them much stumble-room.

I've spent the better part of this weekend reading everything I could
get my hands on about Kight and his wise company. And I
don't see these guys becoming also-rans. Period. And,
in a weird sort of way, I think the perceived MSFDC threat
will serve as a spur to even greater Kight-driven innovations.

Obviously, this is just my opinion. And these ideas
have been better stated (with footnotes) by veterans of
this fine thread.

But, I, for one, am girded for the journey ahead.

Best Regards To All CKFR Investors,

c m
