James: Thanks for your viewpoint. That's why i bothered to raise the question. I'm always curious about a seller's motives for selling. If a sly fox is aware that his business might soon be worth much less than today (in this case because of a new cable system), wouldn't he try to bail out and get whatever he could now?
I've brokered a fair number of business deals in years past, and in more than one instance the motivation for selling was the fact that something significant either already had happened, or was about to happen, which adversely affected the continuing profitability of the venture. Just my two bits worth. George E.
