I believe Intel has already stated that they may purchase warrants in the open market prior to expiration. This will also reduce the number of shares outstanding. I wouldn't think it would be too material. An extremely rough (without a calculator) estimate is that 1/2 billion in cash could reduce shares a little over 1%. Perhaps, upping EPS 1 to 2 cents per quarter for the foreseeable quarters. Although, no telling if there has been any attempt to figure the warrant conversion effect on outstanding shares by analysts in their current estimates.
