Big Losses,
Re -- Your statement about IBM selling chips to AMD, and then AMD reselling the chips back to IBM. What the hell are you talking about?

IBM makes K6 based aptiva systems DUMMY. He he he he he...

Re -- Because it's good news, 0.25um technology, more K6's to sell, more revenue for AMD

You are right. I see AMD stock at $200 by the end of the year!!! Based on a 30% market share.

Re -- We give them money, and a mask set,

How is the morale at AMD these days. Your above stmt, implies you work at AMD. Are you the one sending out all those emails?

BTW All the losers must be left at AMD. With their options practically worthless, and much better opportunities elsewhere in the industry, the only people who are left, are probably the losers who couldn't get a job elsewhere, or the "principled" ones, or the ones who are Jerry's boys.

You aren't one of Jerry's boys are you BIG losses.

Profits,
I was just thinking out loud. That's how I sift out the chunks. I don't think it has anything to do with working in the Hi tech sector. Business is business.
Transactions can get very creative...
Do you work in the Hi-tech sector?
Jim

Profits,

Based on this post you just sent me, it is painfully evident that
you do not work within the high-tech sector. Your statement
about IBM selling chips to AMD, and then AMD reselling the
chips back to IBM. What the hell are you talking about?

Let's see...IBM essential sells chips to AMD (AMD pays IBM for wafers)...AMD then sells the chips back to IBM so they can put them in Aptivas...Why is this so hard to understand? Haven't you even been in business..?
The other alternative was that IBM get's a chip for every one AMD gets or 2:1 etc. This makes it a bit easier for the cash flow of AMD...but you've told us that the agreement is a pure foundry agreement...so I will stand by the original statement.

Jim
