From your note, sounds like the 15" monitor w/ the 5500 isn't holding much value to you anyway. Since you're spending about the same money for either package, go with the most horsepower you can get. There isn't a lot of difference between the two, but with the extra L2 cache, you'll probably notice just enough of a performance boost to appreciate the 6500.

I have a 6500 and it is far superior to the 5500 but if I were you I thing the G3 has a Zip drive too.

I plan to purchase a 233mhz G3 in the very near future. The question is will the DeskWriter 560C that I have work along with it. I have not used the print drivers with system 8 and I wonder if any of you out there have any experience with this. Thanks, -Keith-
