RE: Record Revenue for Q1? My Projections.

My model projects a 2% sequential increase in revenues (which would be a record!), but I'm not very confident in it. Last year saw a 9% decline in revenues.

I'm banking on two things that are different this year: 1) Advertising in place will help reduce the Q1 retail drop. 2) A considerably higher percent of OEM sales which are far less seasonal.

My model is based on a 40% sequential OEM Zip Unit increase and a 16% sequential Retail Zip Unit DECREASE (40% over Q3) for a net 3% Zip unit increase over Q4. I'm projecting margins and revenue per Zip drive to shrink slightly, SG&A to increase $15 million, and R&D to increase 10%. All that should result in $25 million net and about $0.08 EPS.

I hope to be surprised, but will be quite happy if the perform anywhere near my projections.
