I like that I can tell how much $$$ I have available on Datek (although it was confusing the one time I shorted something - I think they credited my account with the short sale bucks until I covered). On Lombard, you can never tell how much $$$ you have unless you haven't done any transactions for at least 3 days. They give you a bunch of numbers that theoretically you should be able to add and subtract to guess how much you have, but it never seems to work out to the right amount. Carolyn
