If AMD has such excess demand, then why don't they charge a higher price per chip? Why not charge say 15% less than Intel rather than the current 25%? What's the point of keeping their chip price so low that demand is greater than they can supply? Why not charge a higher price where their supply can equal their demand? This would increase revenue and go straight to the bottom line. This is just simple ECO 101. What am I missing?
