American Eco (ECGOF on Nasdaq, ECX on Toronto) should release earnings tomorrow morning. Lots of speculation as to what might happen, but First Call expects 35 cents which would be 85% growth over the same quarter a year ago.

Tomas,

Right up front, I wouldn't consider an energy trust at all - at least at this point in time. A year or so down the road, I might want to review status on heavy oil and consider one of the two primary trusts in that area. That's the longer term play.

One other point, I would not consider any energy trusts that went public over the past 1-1/2 years. Look to the veteran trusts such as Pengrowth and Enerplus.

For income objectives, why not take a look at preferred stock/senior notes of some of the more promising senior oils.
