Nicholas, I agree with you completely regarding open debate on this board. As one of the folks who took issue with "Stargazer", I did it specifically because I felt that the post was plain silly and doesn't belong on a good board. Its one thing to argue about the company's products, technology, direction, management, etc. Its another thing to simply say that "something is going to appear" when the very nature of the industry is such that it just doesn't work that way. Its nonsensical and doesn't add anything to a good debate. People's assumptions(positive or negative) should be challenged and the sillier the assumption the more aggressively it should be challenged.
