Ghassan, I'm sorry to see you go. Actually, I think Paul and Fred are just starting to really figure each other out. Looks to me like a real dialogue could be starting. I respect 'em both.

As for Hemingway, I don't think he ever traded any stocks. By the time he had money the market had crashed and that probably kept him out. He was very interested in the racetrack and would spend hours studying the racing sheets for a couple years there, trying to figure out the intelligent way to play them. Take a break from this temporarily acrimonious board and check out his early story "My Old Man."
