OFF TOPIC: Schwab
Their commisions were killin' me. I added it up for a year. Ugh. If you like Schwab, don't add 'em up; 'tho I don't know how often you trade. I'm w/NDB now. Good execution. Good pricing. Commercially stable. No complaints.

Isn't there E-Schwab? How do those rates compare? Are there any trades (of quantity, >5,000) where they don't hit you w/a per share fee?

***OT***RE: Schwab

<< BTW Schwab commissions are 29.95 per + .03 per share over 1000 shares.>>

If you call telebroker you pay 4% + $39.00, less 10%. More trouble, but with these pennies, put a pencil to it, sometimes it is cheaper. (They don't offer this information online, it is in their pamphlet)

EX:
4000 @ .27 = $120.00 (online)
4000 @ .27 = $73.98 (telebroker)

Both too high, but the extra trouble it takes to punch it in is worth it.
