And Java was initially billed as the language to unite all (if not a whole sh* load) of the hardware platforms. Netscape was a contender for the "browser/OS" that scared MSFT into the internet. So Microsoft and Apple go up against Sun, Netscape and maybe Oracle and the whole Java allied powers? -Bill_H
