All: CY down 5.3% to 8 15/16 with an intraday low of 8 13/16 on volume of 1.8 million shares. Semiconductor stocks nearly all dropped today due to some negative comments by a brokerage house on Texas Instruments and Teradyne.

How low do you think we will go before we have a rally of at least one point? Down to near 8 on an intraday basis tomorrow, back down to 7.5 to make a double bottom, or even lower? Remember this is only the second day of a NASDQ correction, which started on Friday, and the DOW even closed higher.

I saw a lot of fund selling between 10 down to 9 1/2 prior to and after the Robertson Stephens technical conference in the Bay Area last week, so obviously they didn't like what they heard from CY at the conference. I would not be surprised to see a loss for this quarter even though ValueLine is predicting 6 cents.

Remember the CEO of CY bought in at 11 last October and also bought $1,000,000 worth of CY stock at 8 in December. However, with long term capital gains holding period now at 18 (?) months, he undoubtedly has a long term perspective.

Any thoughts on the near term bottom of this stock and the final bottom for this year, which may occur here in March or April?
