Hi George: There are so very many smoke and mirrors out there and there still has not been speculation in the small caps..just money primarily moving into the liquid big stocks and the $US dollar which is still the trend and what is that expression about the "the friend".. The consumer confidence leaves me puzzled..are people just so very relieved that they have jobs now and is that what consumer confidence is measuring..nobody appears to be looking at all the currency meltdowns and loss of jobs in other parts of the world..I guess it is human nature to avoid thoughts on what is out of ones control. (wish I could)Sort of like people looking at accidents and feeling good that it isn't them and distancing themselves as far away as possible from unpleasant events... (noticed in the paper saying that although Iraq can sell more oil now..its infrastructure won't be able to handle as much as allowed.. guess the market doesn't care ....yet) (also think we still have to wait for final word on European common currency and then have to wait to see what happens to it..it just appears that it takes so very very long for events to unfold)
