I just experienced OXHP first hand with my wife's mom who has their coverage. In a tough situation, their assigned administrator/customer service manager ( an experienced R.N. who stays with your case through the situation, by the way) was understanding, compassionate, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and humane. What a distinct difference and comforting change from most of the uncaring and unpleasant boobs you have to deal with in the insurance business! We have also found that the doctors and facilities within Oxford's structure are highly skilled and well respected.

While admittedly anecdotal, it's a first hand experience and very telling to me. IMO, it bodes well for OXHP once its computer snafus, paying backlog and pricing gets straightened out. They have first rate people and strong ties in the medical community and should rebound and prosper if the new CEO acts quickly and decisively. His prior corporate history suggests that he will.
