Jyoti: If the stock market goes down these will correct a little, especially higher interest rates. (easy to hedge) Most of their growth now is in high-yield bonds, convertibles and international, which should continue to grow. Furthermore for the stock-picker there are several with incredibly low p/e and high book values that simply don't have much downside risk considering that book value is cash. So do take a look.
ROFL over energy and tech stocks: these guys TRADE those stocks better than you could ever dream of doing. How can you think the energy and tech stocks could grow without the investment houses growing? after all, that's who hatched them. Who do you think owns tons of calls and convertibles from microsoft and dell's IPOs?
ditto with the energy stocks....these guys are no dummies...
