That wouldn't surprise me, I've been screwed on stop losses too many times. I never use them now.

I don't think the NASDAQ has a central book of stop orders like the NYSE. If your broker takes NASDAQ stop orders I think your broker converts it to a market order when the stop price is hit.

The point being is that MMs can only guess, not see, stop orders. Except for their own customers of course.
