Hi Dan,

I have to agree with your assessment of MG's actions. It appears to me that after the Siemens announcement one would at minimum have to keep the annual earnings number where it was rather than un-re-vising it downward. :-) Earnings in Qtrs 1 and 2 couldn't be so low as to offset 4th Qtr production from that source. Or could it?

I also heard that SGS-T announced some sort of deal with Mitsubishi last Thursday or Friday but haven't confirmed it as yet. I was told by a co-worker that it appeared in the WSJ hard copy. But the 2nd hand info was that it involved ferroelectric memory. If true it could be that SGS-T is just covering the entire field but it certainly would not be viewed as good news for RMTR. I wonder if....

NightOwl (I will post if I can verify this info)
P.S. Just checked the SGS-T thingy and it was a story on FLASH memory not Ferroelectric. It does appear that Flash is getting pretty "DENSE". :-)
