On your post at Clubhouse, you stated that One of Centura's business plans is to expand SQLBase to two new directions, a web database and a database inside mobile phones, elecricity meters, smart cards and s.o. They have some reference projects currently running in those areas.

After reading Mark Hunter's article, I got a picture of it. I think it's a good choice to move SQLBase to the opposite direction from what MS's SQLServer is heading - enterprise level. Centura doesn't have that strength technically and financially to compete with other database vendors in that part of the market. Those low-end implementations in appliance-type markets have a great potential. "pocket SQLBase"--- a very interesting concept.
