Phillip: Your short strategy makes me cringe. Personally, I never short a rising stock because I can't time a turnaround. But, I can recognize bad news and a panic, so I only short after a stock has already taken a hit. If your ready to exit your short at 161, why not exit now, go long, and take a profit at 161 instead of a loss?

At least my own company stock is up and I can afford to play around here a little bit.

Hmmmm..... We may have discovered another reason for insider selling: someone went short DELL, got a margin call, and had to sell some of their holdings in their own company to cover. <vbg>
