To All, Compaq admitted to crummy pricing in January, and they just lowered prices again yesterday. They haven't admitted to channel stuffing yet in so many words, though they do give a "nudge, nudge, wink, wink" when asked about it. It looks like Steve was 100% wrong on the fundamentals. Again! However, he is still right about the stock. This is a growth stock, even though it may no longer be a growth company. <G>

Kurlak must have taken those electro-shock treatments as he has cleared the blockage that made him not see the glut in chips for the past couple of years. As CNBC said today, "he may not be right on time with his observations, but he is highly influential." Talk about damning with faint praise. Or is it praising with faint damns?
