Jim, I often questioned the hysteria surrounding a split. It's like getting two nickels for a dime. But what do I know? The market is going crazy! Surely, this can't be the result of the split announcement, or I will have to publicly apologize to Rosemary for questioning her position on splits. I think it's more likely the result of more and more people coming to the conclusion that DELL is not just a flash in the pan, but has real staying power in terms of revenue and earnings growth.
