Henry-

The Lehman (thanks for posting) report mentioned Corixa CRXA as a company involved with vaccines. I believe Smithkline has licensed some of their work. Are you familiar with them?

Regards,
Andrew

ABC, NBC, CBS... One entire week of biotech hype. Perhaps this is going to be the catalyst for a biotech rally?!

Looks like it's going to be a good time to get the VCR's cranking. I've got 4 different VCR's hooked up in line, so I can tape multiple programs at the same time.

The Cancer market is a huge one and, in my mind, there is room for multiple drugs and multiple approaches, just like there are currently multiple approaches for heart trouble, asthma, etc.

One has to consider the possibility of other competing and effective treatments, under development, for Cancer, and their impact on Ligand's potential results.

Regards, Bob

Aphton Corp. is another biotech developing cancer vaccines and they are about 18 mos. into a phase 3 trial for stomach cancer. Their working alliances are with Pasteur Merieux Connaught and Schering Plough. Henry, thanks for all the time you put in on this thread. Karl
