Clam: don't be so quick to write off PSFT. there's also Baan and SAP and those guys will need another leg of growth after selling the desperate y2k/erp purchasers.

I also think VNTV has the market presence and staying power to remain a leader on its own.

Clam, How do you know PSFT isn't interested? I would think that if they were interested the last thing they would do is let this become public knowledge. If it became public knowledge, this deal would cost them significantly more.
