How about all these pseudonyms - "Joey Tech", "Mel64", "the man". Not a peep out of Mel64 since Feb 21, on ANY thread, or Joey since Feb 14. How strange to pay $125 and not contribute. Hmmm. And now we get to see what "the man" does with his new account. Now if they have any brains in their heads they started up a new silicon investor persona back in February, about the same time Mel64 got on, and put him onto some other threads making pointless contributions so that soon he will be able to emerge with "credibility" on the PNDA thread with new rumors and innuendo. Yup, this PR outfit Crane took on sure does have the imaginative thing covered. AND they're getting PR on the cheap - just the cost of membership and some boning up on the art of deception and hype. Or maybe they aren't paying at all. The SI membership page says "Note: After completing the registration process, you will have 4 weeks before payment needs to be sent (during which you can try out the system)." How convenient for them... The membership agreement also requires members, on threat of being removed, to refrain from "Posting material, non-public information about companies, without the authorization to do so." I think the SEC has an issue with this too, whether or not you are an insider. So step lightly, Mr. the man. Maybe from every one of these pseudonyms we should demand a statement of no association with Panda or anyone in the pay of Panda. That will make the deception all the more blatant and interesting when 20/20 covers the story under the title "Investor Fraud on the Internet" or some such. An Open letter to Panda and the Cranes: How about realistic names? Of course it needn't be anyone who exists in the phone book unless its a John Smith, Joe Johnson, Paul Jackson, or something like that. Maybe have them members from sometime sooner than TODAY and maybe have them contribute to other threads even after they get shamed off of this thread. Come on PNDA guys! Put your heart in soul in this endeavor. We all have too many methods of following your sham persona's. Personally I have all of your make believe people bookmarked in the "people bookmark". So let's make some believable characters! No more psudonym one hit wonders, alright? Sit down and think these out so its not so transparent. Thanks for the memories! Jim
