3Com licenses technology from watchmaker Seiko! 3Com Unveils Remote Wake Up Of Network Interface Card Dow Jones Newswires SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- 3Com Corp. (COMS) unveiled the Remote Wake Up capability of its Fast Etherlink XL 10/100 Network Interface Card. In a press release Monday, the company said Remote Wake Up is now integrated with Hewlett-Packard Co.'s (HWP) NP Vectra VL personal computer. 3Com said the two products help customers build a computer network that can be updated, managed and configured "even if the PC has been turned off." 3Com Corp. makes computer hubs and routers.
