Jin, working for the "Undervalued Dog" would be a HOOT! But Jeez, I could cover my tracks a lot better if I did. And spell most of the words correctly...

Looking at the "under-researched" opinion and laughing hysterically!

It estimates book value of $1.32 -- based on what, exactly? Wouldn't that mean they have about $60 million in assets? Since when? How?

I notice some of their "research" has been cribbed from the SI board, specifically Brad's FAMH overviews. A good example is their listing of FAMH clients. Well, if we wanted Brad's recommendation... I think we already have it. In addition, they took their "buy up to $1.25" line from Kostech Research.

Where the average 59 P/E for the staffing industry came from, I don't know. But it sure sounds good!

Let's see... they don't accept payment from the companies they promote. The newsletter is free. I tried an Alta Vista search and could not find any reference to "undervalued dog" on the Internet, so I doubt they are really pushing for advertisers on their web page (if they have one, I couldn't find it).

So how do they make any money?

Their e-mail address is run through a forwarding service. They call the stock a buy under $1.25, then claim they are not in the financial advisory business. They say that 1997 earnings may be changed due to acquistion costs, although they didn't do any acquisitions last year...

What a mess.

Which excuse was it I listed that said "the financials are coming out any minute now"? Number #4? Like I said, that should keep shareholders quiet for another couple weeks....
