ASND is working with CPQ/INTC/MSFT on the next generation of XDSL. Nothing announced yet. But there was been press on this issue. AMD joined this group last week. Check AMD's news for last week if you want more info. So ASND will be there when it happens.

My guess it will have something to do with the new LU chip that was mentioned in the press as a lab item about a month ago. 1.5mbps, seems like a good speed through normal POTS. Wish I could get that on my machine today. Guess, we will all be able to someday soon.

The jury is out on DSL's future, and ASND's position in that market. I do recall them recently being mentioned in the big CPQ-MSFT DSL consortium.
