Barbara,

Suggest you start here, while waiting for Steve to reply.

cboe.com

Site is educational information by the Chicago Board of Options Exchange.

Have fun.

:-))

Barbara, I'd be happy to write up a quick "Options for Beginners" guide explaining the basic terms and mechanics if that's what you're needing.

Steve may have already done this at his web site. I haven't checked.

Let me know, and I'll send it thru personal messenger.

But first you'd have to promise "I will not buy any calls until I thoroughly understand what I'm doing" :-)

Not only do they have free booklets and pamphtlets, but they have free videos they will send you...FREE! They pay the shipping.
Talk about wanting to sell your product!

Anyway, I dont have the exact links, check out the two names above.

For option quotes: cboe.pcquote.com

For a FREE downloadable windows based program that projects option profit/loss graphs so you can "what if" the theoretical impacts of changes in time, the underlying's price, volatility, etc., go to: cboe.com This program also contains a very clear and concise options tutorial.

McMillan on Options is an excellent practical guide to options trading strategies.
