no bounce today -- this seems odd for VLSI. it often makes a nice little move up at the beginning of the month. also, it usually rebounds nicely day after bad news (before moving lower). i'd welcome a technical view, but these are trends i've noticed following VLSI for the last couple of years. i had to bail at 20 1/8 last week, or risk getting hammered with margin calls i'm not ready to meet right now, but i'm thinking that my first hunch might be right: VLSI moves even lower in the typical over-reaction and then rebounds. by next summer we'll be back in the high 20s to low 30s, but between now and then i'm thinking we see $16, if not $12 again. i'm hoping for a nice rebound, but i think i may first make some money on my march 17.5 puts.
