Hi Sig,

Stocks ignored the bond market all last week while interest rates crept up from the 5.83% area on the 23rd. I noticed that sometimes they go together, especially when the bonds are trading on US domestic fundamentals, and other times they diverge. Could this just be a round of profit taking as well? I would think money wouldn't be reallocated to bonds until the interest rate got up towards 7%. Also, the recent eco data show a still strong economy. (i.e. good for stocks). JMHO
Regards,
Lee
