This is a quote from the 1997 introduction to Roger's Short Picks. I wish it had been included in the introduction to the 1998 version though I have to say I really don't think it should be needed. This thread is for identifying targets and discussing them, personal attacks do not add anything but bitterness.
As far as picking stocks, I have taken some terrible poundings on paper before the stock turned in my direction and I profited, some times very well. Count winnings or losses when you sell or cover, until then it is just waiting to see if the market will agree with you.
