More on explanation

IMHO, if CPQ has problems, then the upside move in DELL will be stopped cold. At current prices the market cap of DELL is more than that of CPQ. CPQ's revenues and profits are more than twice that of DELL. Any slowdown in the the PC market will have a much larger effect on the price of DELL than on the severely discounted price of CPQ. Again this is just my view. Good Luck.

Explanation Part III

Andreas, you were exactly right. There was a DELL "event." After the DELL presentation today at the ML conference, there was a rumor that Lucy painter was cutting DELL's estimates. ML came on the box at 3:51 pm EST and said that ML was not cutting DELL's estimates. Tomorrow morning, Lucy will be discussing both CPQ and DELL. Good Luck.
