Hi guys, I bought some Canarc - CCM on Friday during a big sell off with no shortage of buyers. Bought based on their projects in particular a high priced JV with Placer Dome. Bought at $0.49 with intentions to flip it. Closed at $0.60 today with the sell off apparently ended. They had news out on Friday of a private placement by Minorca at $0.75 late in the afternoon and that was my signal to buy. I called the company today and learned that they have entered the Zacatecas area play. News is expected to be out this week maybe as early as tomorrow in time for the PDAC and also a big add in the Northern Miner this Friday. A 14 property acquisition with the closest 10 to 12 k from WTC/Teck discovery. This news might be good for a bounce? Maybe not but i will hang onto my shares until the news is out or maybe I'll hold for Placer Dome drilling? The company has been on my watch list since the fall. John
