if you are a bull, this can be perceived as good news because it may imply reducing production and thereby limiting dram in the market (of course this implies no other companies pick up production). it also reduces quarterly expenses.

if you are a bear, this can be perceived as bad news because it may imply mu is doing everything possible to reduce costs for the quarter because they are getting hammered with losses.

wow! of 22 tech stocks i follow this was the only one in the green. sox down almost 4%. semis, semi equip cos, networking stocks, basically the whole tech sector nailed (even intel) and mu shows a solid gain.
