Thanks for the chart on the oil services index. However here is my analysis of one stock in the oil services, a marine driller RIG Yes you are right RIG also has a gap 4 days ago on the way up and MOST times stocks retrace and fill those gaps but not always and maybe not at all and when we do not know. Other things I notice about RIG: (all positive through today, but now guarantees for future) 1. Bands have been narrowing 2. It has been basing sideways for the last 10 days 3. Last 9 days all positive money flows 4. Last 30 days only 7 negative money flow days..21 days of positive money flows 5. Good volume last 30 days 6. OBV (on balance volume line has been headed up since 2/23 7. +DI is increasing a little and -DI is decreasing 8. on 2/25 short ( 5 day moving average) turned up and crossed over the longer 15 day moving average in upward direction and continues moving in up ward direction angling away or diverging from the longer 15 day average and both are moving up 9. Breadth: on 2/25 the advance-decline line turned up 10. Just eyeballing the chart stock has been in upward trend about 6 days 11.BUt.........I am hoping that the bottom for Rig occurred on 1/12/98 with low of 35...Reality....that could be the risk back down to 35. Take on DO and GLM are the same the nice spike in RIG DO and GLM occurred today. Wall street Journal had had big headline about the big surplus of oil stocks. My news station had feature last night on nice low price of oil So.....who knows????? Marion
