I can't say. But look at AVNT. I remember it being at 34 (after shorting it at 31, my first short) thinking, I know this company isn't going anywhere with all the hype. And it hung there for a while, I was nervous, but kept telling myself, I can wait. And I did. And in the end, I'm a few tens of thousands of dollars richer. I did play it alot on the way down once I recognized the pattern.

Look at ERGB. I didn't follow the advise of the short sellers on that thread and I lost a few thousands of dollars. I thought that it would go up on hype. I lost.

The point is, you never know. But companys that are based on hype and the points that Bill outlined are going down sooner or later. Increases in price are just an opertunity to short at a higher price. More money.

I can wait.

Harry: If you truly believe that this stock will implode, you ought to hedge your long position now. Or just go short now.

Die hard longs are holding out betting that toothpaste will sell better than expected. However, the nervous "trigger" fingers will continue to bail. Meanwhile, the confident shorts eagerly await every uptick.

There's nothing like a little battle to stir things up a bit. But I'm just waiting to hear the sweet sound of "backfire".
