Kevin,

Thanks for the comp charts... I would never have guessed that
SUNW's performance over the past 50 months would be comparable to
MSFT. I bought SUNW in June 95 for a (split-adjusted) $10/share,
so I have a +350% profit in 32 months. STK was a recent buy, and
it will look bad in a long term comparison since it is a cyclical
stock. I bought in the low $60s a month or so ago.

Anyway, back to MAPX. I agree with you that MAPX may not lose
entrenched clients in the near term, but I am also thinking about
where the growth is going to come from. Growth of 20% is not good
enough in my book for a company that already has a P/E of ~20.
The other ERP stocks have P/Es of 40-100 (BAANF's P/E is over 100!)
... but BAANF is growing at 50%. I guess I need to do some more
homework on MAPX and the whole ERP industry. I have been looking for
a software company to invest in, and maybe MAPX is it...

Dear Kevin: I always said Accounting is an "Art" not a Science and I paint with a "Broad Brush" haha. I reviewed your charts, of course with the appropriate amount of ENVY!! I should point out that the rapid rise in Technology was really in its infancy especially at the start of the 100 month chart. I would be surprised if any gains like those can be repeated in the current Industry Leaders. The trick is to spot the NEXT generation leaders. Any Hints??? JOHN
