Rambi listened in consternation as Bub explained to her that he hadn't really been talking to the pig, that it had been a ploy. He seemed to be slightly disoriented and she wondered if the giant chicken were carrying some strange airborne disease that had affected his cognitive skills. She pulled a Power Bar from her thong and handed it in to him. Before she could ask him to let her feel his forehead for fever, she heard a voice from behind her. "Hide the weapon," she hissed to Bub, as she whirled, her Uzi at the ready. The little man with the patent leather hair and the silk shirt so gaily patterned with hibiscus flowers stood before her, his broad grin like a chromatic run of black and white keys. He began to speak in his pidgin English interspersed with strange giggles, not threatening, not even understandable, and the uzi wavered as she listened, trying to decide what course of action to take. Suddenly the little man's voice altered and from his throat issued the most enchanting tones she'd ever heard. She walks in beauty like the night intoned The Voice. Entranced, the uzi slowly lowered until it was pointing at the ground, despite Bub's urgent hisses from behind her. The Voice was speaking to her, to her heart, to her soul, words of such incomparable beauty she could barely breathe in the rarified atmosphere they created. She flushed, all of her, every silken inch of her body turning a gentle golden peach tint, her pulse raced, cheeks flushing, she felt dizzy. "Hows you likes thats Rambitresses huh!! You never expects that fancy words froms Juan F. Gonzales Quiros Guillermo Hourquescos Saldiver I bets!" As if she'd been slapped, Rambi slammed the weapon up to her shoulder and pointed it between the soulful dark eyes, so pleased with themselves, that gazed eagerly into hers. As she tried to understand what had happened, the dark eyes closed and Juan F. Gonzales Quiros Guillermo Hourquescos Saldiver fell into her arms. Behind him stood the naked woman, now fully and whimsically clad in a silk hibiscus flowered shift that matched her husband's shirt, and holding a large stick of wood. "He ees so full of sheeet," said the well-muscled Eeemerelda. Catching Rambi's look at her shift, she explained, "We olways dressses like. Ees cute, si? Now where eees Bub?"
