< Let's say all 4-6 million who buy IBM Aptivas with the chip are wired to Internet.>

Doc, If I understand Wave correctly, I do not believe much of Wave's revenues will come from internet downloads in the early stages of the WaveMeter. The internet is too slow at this time for downloading digital content for the average. PC user. Down the road when ADSL, Cable or Satellite grab hold, I believe the internet will provide a much larger audience for downloading, and either purchasing or renting software. However, I do believe there will be opportunities for sites that may wish to charge subscription services...ie. 10cents for each time you log on to the SI site, Barrons, ESPN sports site etc.. There are a growing number of pay sites....these sites could gather additional revenues by offering a " per copy" price rather than full subscription.. I believe Wave will fit this bill.

I believe Steven stated that 4-6million is about 5% penetration of the PC market.
I am assuming that is 5% off ALL existing PC's or is it 5% of all PC's sold annually? Does someone have access to a site showing how many PC's sell in a year and the market share of the players? If I remember correctly, I believe Compaq is the leader, and Dell, IBM, HP, Gateway and PB round out the much of the remainder.

Wave launches 4-6million meters in 1999, how 'bout 2000, 2001 and 2002 and beyond? and than a faster internet?. Holy smokes.....I am smelling opportunity. I think I need to buy more shares.
