I think the March quarter will be heavy in sales because of the Radio Shack dealers (5000 of them?) who are all supposed to get their inventory by March end. I think this is what Eral Mason had in mind when he said that this quarter will be back end loaded... Another question, would it make any sense for compaq management to low-ball their stock right now before the merger is a done deal? I think someone mentioned this earlier. May be thats why CFO wants to paint a 'doubtful' picture, just to keep the CPQ stock under the lid...Any comments? -TM
