SMARTSERV ONLINE INC PRE 14A Filing Date: 3/6/98

What a week folks, along with the good news of now having a serious sales force:

quote.yahoo.com

Looks like as if we'll have some dilution coming in the future. At the annual meeting coming up:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 1997 Annual Meeting of
Stockholders (the "Annual Meeting") of SmartServ Online, Inc.,
a Delaware corporation (the "Company"), will be held at 11:00 a.m.,
local time, on Thursday, April 23, 1998, at the Hotel
Inter-Continental, 111 East 48th Street, New York, New York,

The full PRE/14A can be found here:

www1.freeedgar.com

Also, sorry to say I was unable to have time this week to contact
the company, but I will be in town all next week, and will do so first
thing Monday morning..

And, I hate to say it...but it looks like this shoots the $5.00
figure out of the water for awhile, but my gut feeling is that we'll
see at least a 25% gain between now & then.

I also picked up a few more shares on the dip, and grabbed a bunch
more warrants on Thursday enabling me to average down from where I was
when I bought in: {02/27/98 15:54:16 Bought}

And, if anyone has any questions....please post them and I'll throw
them on my list for Monday!!

Thank's to all and good luck!!

jim

PS...Another thing I noticed today was that when going to the bottom
of the page, and doing a "full text" SI search for SSOL...Nothing no
longer comes up..just in the subject box. Now that's a little
strange, as last week there was some.. Maybe this other fellow was
right about SI starting to control some of the content?

I doubt it, but you never know.. :)

In post #12 at the bottom I had said:

I'd like to retract that statement, as the search engine was inoperable, and has now been fixed.
